Assumption:  This Sunday is the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady – 15th August.

Mass of the Feast takes the place of the Twentieth Sunday liturgy.

Knock:  This Sunday 15th the Elphin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock takes place, led by

Bishop Jones, starting with Anointing of the Sick at 2.30pm, followed by Concelebrated Mass at 3.00pm. Then Rosary and Procession – outdoors weather permitting.

Kilcolmb Cemetary: Grass strimming this Sunday at 11.30 am.  The maintenance committee would like to thank sincerely all who contributed so generously to the upkeep of the cemetery at the recent Mass, €309.79 was collected.  Thanks to Fr. Joyce, the choir and all who helped with this lovely celebration.

 

Ladies Club:  Annual dance/waltzing competition takes place on this Sunday night August 15th in the Glencastle Lounge.  Music by Dene Lane & Gracelands.  Admission €5.00 please support.  Meeting on Monday night 16th in Community Centre at 9pm to sort out tickets.

Pioneer Association:  Meeting after 10:30 Mass on Sunday August 22nd all committee members please attend.

GAA Lotto:  No winner of jackpot.  Lucky dip winners – Gráinne Nolan, Mary Dowd, Celia Rattigan Williamstown, Karina Morgan, Mary Delia Cuddy. Next Jackpot €12,300 22/08/10.

Co. Roscommon Disability Support Group:  Holding a church gate collection this weekend.  Please give generously.

Boystown Players Youth Theatre 2010:  From 11th – 27th November in Fr.
