This international pike
challenge took place over two days with the anglers been based in
Kiltimagh, Co.Mayo. Day one, the 5th October was fished on the
river suck in Glinsk, a roving match with one rod. The roving day
of the challenge has traditionally seen the Irish team fair out
well, probably because it is a style of fishing we practice
regularly. However this year, things were different. Day two, the
6th October was fished on Lough Loung (Glinsk) and the Castlereagh
lakes near Kiltimagh, again another turn around in traditional
results however slight.
